Using Suomi.fi Messages

After activating Suomi.fi Messages, log in to the service

• Using the Suomi.fi mobile application. Download the Suomi.fi mobile application from the Google Play StoreOpens in a new window. or Apple App StoreOpens in a new window.. You can find the application by searching for suomi.fi.

You need Finnish strong electronic identification tools, such as online banking codes or a mobile certificate. More information on electronic identification using different identification tokens. When you log in to the service, you will land in the Inbox. This is where you will find the messages that you have received.

When you receive a message in the Suomi.fi app or at suomi.fi/messages, you can trust that it has been sent by an identified authority.

To keep your use of Suomi.fi Messages safe:

• You can also use Suomi.fi Messages in a browser on your computer or mobile device. Type suomi.fi/messagesOpens in a new window. directly in the address bar. You can also save the address as a bookmark.
• Suomi.fi Messages may send you email notifications. These notifications never include links. Do not open links in emails.
• Suomi.fi Messages never sends text messages. Do not open links sent to you by SMS.
