Choose which digital post service shows your messages

In the future, you will be able to read messages from public authorities in other digital post services as well as in Suomi.fi Messages. The change is voluntary. You can continue to read messages from public authorities in Suomi.fi Messages just as before.

You can read messages that are in Suomi.fi Messages through another digital post service only after that service has joined the service and meets the requirements for information security, data protection and functionality.

We will provide information on this page when you can give a digital post service permission to display your government messages.

When the feature is available

When a digital post service has the technical capability to display government messages, you can choose to give it permission to display your messages received in Suomi.fi Messages.

• Giving permission is voluntary. You do not have to start using another digital post service alongside Suomi.fi Messages.
• You can read your messages in more than one place. If you give permission, you will see messages received in Suomi.fi Messages both in Suomi.fi Messages and in the digital post service you have chosen.
• You will see both old and new messages. When you give permission, messages you received previously will also be displayed in the digital post service you have chosen.
• Your messages remain in Suomi.fi Messages. The messages are not transferred to or stored in another digital post service.
• You can remove the permission at any time. The permission will also be removed automatically if you close your user account with the digital post service or do not read the messages there for 365 days. The permission will also be removed if you stop using Suomi.fi Messages.
