Request a mandate as a company or an organisation

In Suomi.fi e-Authorizations, a person who has a right to represent a company or an organisation alone or a person who has a representative’s mandate to grant a mandate can request mandates for transactions from a company, organisation or a person. The mandate request will only become a valid mandate after it has been validated by the party receiving it.

When you want to request a mandate on behalf of a company or organisation in Suomi.fi e-Authorizations, 

  • use your personal identifiers, i.e. your personal banking identification codes, a mobile certificate, a certificate card or the Finnish Authenticator application, to identify yourself in Suomi.fi. Instructions for identification using different identification tokens
  • select acting on behalf of a company and the company or organisation on behalf of which you want grant mandates. When you wish to grant a mandate on behalf of a self-employed person or an organisation, select also the acting on behalf of a company option.

Please note that if you use Suomi.fi e-Authorizations on behalf of a company  or organisation and you do not use the service for two hours, you will have to select the Acting on behalf of a company function again.

If a company or organisation cannot use Suomi.fi e-Authorizations, ask the assignor to give it a mandate for transactions.
