Centre for Non-Military Service reception

A commitment regarding the performance of the service is filled in when it is decided to employ a person liable to do non-military service

Your civil service starts with a training period. The training period is followed by a work placement.

You can apply for up to three years of postponement of alternative civil service at a time.

You can request a written proof of completion of the civilian service from the Civilian Service Centre.

Service location may order the person liable for non-military service on a journey abroad that lasts longer than 14 days but not longer than 2 months

You have a right to check the information that is stored in the civilian service register about you.

The Civilian Service Centre has a social welfare officer who can provide you with guidance and advice.

The placement organisation can request termination of civil service on the grounds of the civil service draftee’s health or a criminal matter

If you want to switch from civil to military service, you can apply for transfer.

You can, on proper grounds, request a transfer of the civilian service position during the labour service.
