Guardianship
If a person has been appointed a guardian, this will not affect their use of Suomi.fi Messages.
A person under guardianship may still grant and use mandates for the use of Suomi.fi Messages by means of Suomi.fi e-Authorizations. In addition, a person under guardianship may use Suomi.fi Messages to act on behalf of their company or underaged child.
A guardian may use Suomi.fi Messages on behalf of their client if the client has granted the guardian Suomi.fi e-Authorizations to use Suomi.fi-messages. However, a public guardian may not use Suomi.fi Messages on behalf of their client.
If a client under guardianship is no longer able to identify themselves in Suomi.fi Messages, their guardian should ask Public Service Info for instructions on how to discontinue the client's use of Suomi.fi Messages. The client will only receive messages as paper mail after their use of Messages has been discontinued.
