Activate Messages for a company

Before you can activate Suomi.fi Messages for your company, you must identify  yourself in the service. After this, you can act on behalf of your  company and can activate Suomi.fi Messages.

Do as follows:

  1. Log in to Suomi.fi using your own personal identification device. The Identification button is on the Messages page and in the top right corner of each Suomi.fi page. You can also download  the Suomi.fi mobile application. You can find additional information on  identification on the How to identify yourself in an e-service page.
  2. Go to the Messages page, if you are not logged in directly.
  3. You may act on behalf of a company by clicking the “Act on behalf of another party” button and selecting “I am acting on behalf of an organisation” from the alternatives.
  4. On the list, select the company on whose behalf you wish to act. The list only shows the companies on  whose behalf you are entitled to act. After making the selection, return to the Messages view and you will see that you are now acting on behalf of the company.
  5. To begin using Suomi.fi Messages click on the "Activate Suomi.fi Messages for an organisation" button and fill in the information requested on the page that opens.
  6. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you entered in the previous section. To confirm the company's email address, go to  the Suomi.fi Web Service and enter the six-digit verification code you  received in the message.

Note that the verification code is valid for half an hour. If you do not  make the confirmation by the deadline, start the Suomi.fi Messages  activation again for the company. Suomi.fi Messages cannot be activated  without confirming the email address.
