Making a mandate request as a person

If you are an adult, you can request a mandate to act on behalf of another person or organisation.

To submit a mandate request,

1. you must have a Finnish personal identity code and
2. you must be able to identify in Suomi.fi e-Authorizations with your personal online banking codes, mobile ID or certificate card.

If you do not have a Finnish personal identity code, you must have a valid and confirmed foreigner's identifier (UID) and you must be able to identify in Suomi.fi e-Authorizations with the Finnish Authenticator.

The mandate request will only become a valid mandate after it has been approved by the party receiving the request. After this, as an assignee, you can manage the assignor’s matters in the services that allow acting on behalf of another party with a mandate.
