Making a mandate request as a person

In Suomi.fi e-Authorizations, persons aged over 18 may request a mandate for transactions from a person or an organisation (assignor), if

  • they have a Finnish personal identity code
  • they can log into Suomi.fi e-Authorizations using their personal online banking codes, mobile certificate or certificate card
  • they have a valid and confirmed Foreigner’s identifier (UID) and they can log into Suomi.fi e-Authorizations using the Finnish Authenticator application.

The mandate request will only become a valid mandate for transactions after it has been approved by the party receiving it. After this, the person who has received the mandate (assignee) may manage the assignor's matters in the services in which it is allowed to act on behalf of another person with a mandate.
