What does participation in the content network require?

Content networks include members of government agencies, municipalities, associations and companies. The Suomi.fi editorial team puts together the network.

Who can participate in the network?

Content networks include members of government agencies, municipalities, associations and companies. The Suomi.fi editorial team puts together the network. The working language of networks is Finnish.

What is expected of me as a member of the network?

The members of the network shall:

  • bring their own expertise on the topic to the content
  • participate in workshops and meetings
  • comment on, supplement, correct and approve plans and produced content
  • provide the material needed for the collection of customer insight and collect comments on their own organisation or networks
  • participate in updating and developing content in the future.

Membership in content networks is voluntary. You can participate in the work as much as you have time for or as much as you consider necessary. This is because the members of the network are not remunerated, and your organisation is responsible for the reimbursement of working hours and any travel costs.

All network member organisations can use the contents of the Suomi.fi Web Service in accordance with the Creative Commons Name 4.0 International licence.

What are the responsibilities of the Suomi.fi Web editorial team?

The Suomi.fi editorial team is tasked with:

  • the coordination of network activities
  • the planning, writing and publication of content
  • seeing to the translation of content (Swedish and English) and the payment of translations
  • ensuring that the content in Suomi.fi is up to date
  • collecting feedback from Suomi.fi users and the network
