How other organisations and foreign companies grant mandates
Other organisations and foreign companies mainly authorise with a mandate application. The mandates will enter into force at the earliest when the Digital and Population Data Services Agency has processed the application.
Other organisations include state or municipal organisations, educational institutions, the Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Orthodox Church, religious communities, foundations, investment funds, unemployment funds, insurance funds, personnel funds, jointly owned forests, road maintenance associations, cooperatives and estates of deceased persons with a business ID.
The easiest and quickest way to grant mandates is to grant them independently in the Suomi.fi e-Authorizations service, at https://www.suomi.fi/e-authorizations. The granted mandates enter into force immediately or at the desired point in time.
In other organisations and foreign companies, only a person who has been granted the mandate for it can independently grant mandates on behalf of the organisation of company. The mandate type must be a right to create a mandate or a representative’s right to grant a mandate.
