Rules of working life

Minimum pay and general terms of employment (such as working hours and right to training) are laid out in collective agreements. Telework, job alternation leave, part-time work and part-time pension are some of the arrangements aimed at making working life more flexible.

Working time, annual holidays and time off

Regular working time may not exceed eight hours per day and 40 hours per week. You will receive 2 - 2,5 days of holiday for each month.

The employment contract that you make with your employer must comply with the collective agreement for the industry.

An employer may only record and process your personal data when this is directly relevant to your employment.
