For the parliamentary elections in 2019, notifications of the right to vote may be accessed for the first time in electronic format instead of being sent in the post. To access your notification of the right to vote in the parliamentary elections, you must be using Suomi.fi Messages by 16.00 on 22 February 2019.

Suomi.fi e-Identification: Danske Bank’s security cards will no longer be in use after 14 September

Danske Bank has announced that it will no longer use conventional code cards, or security cards, after 14 September. This also applies to Suomi.fi e-Identification and all public administration services that use it for identification purposes.

Over 10 million transactions using Suomi.fi e-Authorizations to act on behalf of another party

During the beginning of this year (January to May) the amount of transactions on behalf of another party reached over 6.5 million, which is over 1.6 million transactions per month.

A redesigned Help and Support section has been published in the Suomi.fi Web Service. The section explains what you need to do to enable the Messages service and how Suomi.fi e-Identification works. It also tells you how to use the e-Authorisations service to give authorisations as a person or as a company or to request a mandate to use the services on behalf of another person or company.
