Low-income people can apply for housing allowance from Kela to cover housing costs. There are different forms of housing allowance for different target groups.
You can receive basic social assistance from Kela, if your income does not cover essential daily expenses, such as food and housing. Wellbeing services county may provide you with supplementary or preventive social assistance.
Wellbeing services counties and companies also provide housing services for the elderly, for people with disabilities, as well as for mental health and substance abuse rehabilitees.
