Finnish Authenticator is a mobile application that serves as an identification token. It can only be used by foreigners who cannot identify themselves in public administration e-services using Finnish identification tokens or common European identification methods.
When identifying yourself in an e-service, the Finnish Authenticator application may be available for selection. However, it can only be used if foreigners are permitted to access the e-service in question. Check the instructions for the e-service whether you can use Finnish Authenticator to access it.
