Science and research
Most of the scientific research in Finland takes place at universities and state-funded special research institutes (sectoral research institutes). Funding for science comes from the public and private sectors as well as foundations.
Grants and scholarships
A grant will not be taxed, if its sum falls below the annual amount of the artist grant. The sum for an artist grant will be confirmed yearly.
