Plot height notification
- Public service
Building permit applicants need a building permit map and a report on the owners of neighbouring properties for hearing the neighbours as attachments to the building permit. A plot height notification is part of these building permit map materials. The notification specifies the ground levels of the yard area in relation to street levels and neighbouring properties.
The building permit map materials are ordered in accordance with the City Survey Services’ bulletin (in Finnish).
The plot height notification is created by the Urban Environment Division’s Land Use department. If necessary, you can request the notification by sending an e-mail to email@example.com.
The municipal property authorities can be requested to carry out the measure. The purpose of determining the elevation of a plot is to establish the height of the plot above sea level.
The planned location of the building is determined by marking the place where the building is to be constructed. The purpose of the location review is to establish the exact location of the building. If necessary, an opinion on the review is issued. Final acceptance cannot be given before the location review has been completed.
