The online bookshop is open to everyone, and sells publications by THL, such as information and textbooks, research reports, recommendations and statistical publications. The National Institute for Health and Welfare’s online bookshop is maintained by Kirjavälitys Oy.

The online shop is available in three languages (Finnish, Swedish, English). The service features general online store features: product descriptions, product categories, search functions, shopping cart and payment, as well as delivery terms. The service describes the registration and order conditions according to the Personal Data Act.

To whom and on what terms

The service is intended for anyone who wants to buy THL publications. You can buy books from the online bookshop without registering as a customer if payment is made at the time of purchase. Purchasing with invoices requires customer registration and a business ID and is only available to corporate customers such as municipalities. Registered customers can set up a so-called watch service for future products and browse their previous order history.

A fee is charged for the service.

Online bookshop products are chargeable. Prices are quoted per item. Use of the online service is free.
