The purpose of school health care services is to monitor schoolchildren's growth and development, and to promote their health and well-being.

Upper secondary students receive healthcare services from the wellbeing services county.

Higher education students both at universities and universities of applied sciences receive healthcare services from the Finnish Student Health Service (FSHS).
