To whom and on what terms

The activities are provided based on a decision on work activities for people with disabilities made by the Client Assistance Unit for the Disabled (the Act on Special Care for People with Intellectual Disabilities or the Disability Services Act). To receive the service, please contact the counselling service for people with disabilities either by phone, through the Maisa client portal or via email. Participation requires motivation and interest to learn working life skills that help you move towards job coaching and the world of work.

The service is free of charge for clients. For work activities organised under the Act on Special Care for People with Intellectual Disabilities, a free transportation is provided to and from where the activities are held (travel card or taxi). A fee is charged for the meals. No salary is paid for the work activities, but clients are paid an incentive pay for the days of participation. Incentive pay is a tax-free social benefit.

You can find the up-to-date contact information and opening hours in the Service units tab.
