A social worker or social instructor carries out a service needs assessment with you to agree on how to support your integration in your new city. We will guide you to the right services, help you with issues related to housing, health, leisure and everyday life, and support you in managing your affairs independently.

To whom and on what terms
The service is for you if
- you have a refugee background and live in Kerava and your municipality of residence was confirmed less than 3 years ago
- you have a refugee background and live in Vantaa and your municipality of residence was confirmed less than 1 year ago
- you have some other grounds for a residence permit (e.g. a job) but have applied for international protection
- you have come to Finland as a family member of a person with a refugee background and the family reunification sponsor's municipality of residence was confirmed less than 3 years ago.
