Children have the right to adequate support from their parents. Child support is determined based on the child’s need for support. You can agree on child support by visiting a child welfare officer in the child’s place of residence. The child welfare officer confirms your written agreement if it is in the best interests of the child.
You can contact family law services on matters relating to securing custody, rights of access and child support and determining paternity and maternity.
You can find the up-to-date contact information and opening hours in the Service units tab.
