School social worker services are available to you if you are studying in the wellbeing services county in pre-primary and basic education, preparatory education for an upper secondary qualification or upper secondary education.
You can visit the school social worker on your own or together with a teacher, friend or parent. You can also call them or send them a message via Wilma or e-mail. School social workers also attend school events, such as parents’ evenings and school–home cooperation days, so you can meet them there. In addition, you can take part in groups run by the school social worker (for example, a social skills group, a parenting group or a life-skills course), or in class work (for example, team-building or wellbeing classes).
You can find the contact details of the school social workers in the Service units tab under the school’s name.
