The service covers all clients who are assessed to need round-the-clock service housing pursuant to the Social Welfare Act and who have been granted the service. The service is intended for adults who need daily and round-the-clock support for managing daily activities and taking care of themselves due to mental health and/or substance abuse problems. The service is relevant when cohousing (previously service housing) is not adequate to meet your need for support and service, and you require strong support for your care and rehabilitation due to mental health and/or substance abuse problems. Clients directed to the service require support for monitoring their health and for performing the daily tasks related to taking medication, taking care of hygiene, eating, cleaning, financial matters and who also need round-the-clock support and assistance and the presence of an employee. The need for night-time assistance and support is regular. The need for night-time support or supervision may be related to the monitoring or symptoms of a health condition, mental or somatic illness or substance abuse problems.
