Reporting under the Mercury Regulation

According to the EU Mercury Regulation, mercury and mercury compounds from the chlor-alkali industry, the cleaning of natural gas, mining and smelting operations of non-ferrous metals and the extraction of cinnabar ore are waste. A company operating in these sectors must annually report information on mercury waste and its treatment.
Do the following
Prepare a free-form report covering the information listed in Article 12 of the Mercury Regulation.
Submit the report to the Finnish Environment Institute either
- by email to wasteshipments@syke.fi or
- by mail to the address Finnish Environment Institute, Latokartanonkaari 11, 00790 Helsinki.
Deadline
The previous year's data must be reported to the Finnish Environment Institute by 31 May.
