Do the following
To apply for a lift work qualification, please visit the website of Personal and Company Assessment Ltd SETI and apply electronically. Fill in your contact details and specify which qualification you are applying for. Next, scan the documents and certificates required for the qualification and attach them individually. A valid lift safety degree belongs under section “safety certificate”, school certificates required for the qualification belong under section “education, school and course certificates” and employment certificates under “employment certificates”. After you have attached all required documents, press “submit”, and the application is automatically sent to SETI’s processing system. You will receive a confirmation of receival by email.
To whom and on what terms
The certificates of lift work qualifications are issued by Personal and Company Assessment Ltd SETI.
In order to be eligible for the certificate of qualification, you must have:
• applicable technical training
• suitable work experience in the field of lifts
• completed a lift safety degree.
In addition to the lift safety degree, the minimum requirements for obtaining a certificate of lift work qualification are:
a suitable higher education degree in technical field, engineer’s or technician’s degree or an applicable further vocational qualification with lifts and, after completing the qualification, at least two years of sufficiently extensive experience in managing lift maintenance, repair and alteration work
or
a suitable basic degree in electricity sector and, after completing the degree, at least three years of sufficiently extensive experience in the management of lift maintenance, repair and alteration work.
Deadline
The lift safety degree is valid for five years, which means that you must apply for the certificate of qualification within five years after completing the lift safety degree.
Processing time
The standard application processing time is 2–4 weeks, 4–6 weeks during holiday times.
