The aim of preventing homelessness is to identify the risks of homelessness as early on as possible and to focus on concrete guidance and providing support for keeping a home.

The service is primarily intended for persons and families at risk of homelessness due to

- a threat of eviction,

- outstanding rent payments,

- difficulties in managing finances,

- a need for special support or

- a crisis that affects housing.

Clients are primarily referred to the service by a social welfare professional. The service is provided on the basis of an assessment by a social welfare professional.
