The service is intended for clients of the wellbeing services county from around the age of 13 (students in lower and upper secondary school, and adults). It is provided based on a health care professional's assessment of the need for treatment and its urgency.

If you have musculoskeletal problems (such as back and neck pain) you can contact the physiotherapy phone service directly at 09 4191 1120. By calling, you can get guidance and advice as well as a physiotherapy appointment based on the assessment of your treatment needs.

People under the age of 16 and those receiving physiotherapy for reasons other than musculoskeletal problems need a referral from a doctor, nurse, or other social and healthcare professional. Once you have a referral, please call the physiotherapy phone service at 09 4191 1120 to make an appointment.

If you wish to cancel your appointment, you can do it via Maisa or, outside of phone service hours, by voicemail. Please include your appointment details (clinic and time) and your personal details (name and date of birth) in your message. Please book a new appointment by calling the physiotherapy phone service at 09 4191 1120.
