The Central Ostrobothnian central hospital has a separate paediatric emergency clinic for the treatment of children under the age of 16. Soite's paediatric emergency clinic is responsible for almost all emergency services within social and health care for children and youths.

Treatment at the paediatric emergency clinic does not require a refferal. Please always contact the paediatric emergency clinic by phone before coming to the clinic. A child's need of urgent care is assessed by phone or at the clinic.
