The outreach youth work in Vaasa is aimed at 15 – 29 year olds, who need support in planning the future and taking care of everyday tasks. Origo helps when the studies are interrupted, the youngster needs help in taking care of everyday tasks, the youngster is looking for a job, practical training placement or a studying place, needs an apartment, has problems making a living, health problems or an addiction of some kind, is generally thinking about his/her life situation, needs support with planning the future or just is in need of someone to talk to. Background information

Outreach youth work supports young people who are outside education and the labour market. Support is given concerning education, work or other necessary services. Outreach youth work is specialised youth work where the objective of the social workers is to maintain a presence among young people and offer them a possibility for a safe and confidential contact with an adult. It is voluntary for young people to take part in outreach youth work.

Outreach youth work takes contact with persons aged under 29 who for example drop out of school or military or civil service.
