To whom and on what terms
Before receiving the licence, the applicant must provide information on their financial situation and demonstrate the professional and technical conditions required for the sector.
Alcoholic beverages may only be manufactured at a manufacturing site approved by Valvira, where production and storage are arranged so that effective supervision is possible. Valvira performs an inspection at the manufacturing site, and the production of alcoholic beverages can only be started after the manufacturing site and the manufacturing equipment have been approved.

approximately 3 months. The processing time varies from case to case.
