To whom and on what terms
The provision of the home hospital’s services is always based on a physician’s referral and your consent. This means that your physician will assess whether your illness can be treated in the home hospital. Home hospital care is always an alternative to hospital care. You must be in adequate condition for the treatment to take place at home. It must also be possible to provide the necessary treatment of the illness at home.
Intravenous medical treatment or minor procedures can be performed at an infusion outpatient clinic after your physician has determined that outpatient treatment is possible and has made a referral. You are responsible for your transport to the infusion outpatient clinic.
