How to apply

Provide accurate and sufficient information about the purpose of the grant and other details that are relevant to the decision in your application. Give a brief description of the project in the application. Use an attached document to provide a detailed description of the project and its objectives, the project schedule and total cost estimate with an itemised breakdown (see instructions). Describe in the project plan the intended project outputs and how they will be used and disseminated. The plan must also indicate how the achievement of objectives will be assessed during the project.

If possible, submit your application online (Grant application for an environment education project). If you are unable to use the online form, you can use a printed application form instead. Send the application as an attachment to the general service form or by post.

The right to use services

Prepare to prove that you have the right to act on behalf of the applying organisation. In the e-services, the application can be submitted by an authorised person. Persons without separate authorisation can act on behalf of an organisation if they have an existing mandate for transactions or a right based on register data. The mandate theme is called Applying for subsidies for employment, environment, business and transport. Read more information about authorisations in the service.

If you have the sole right to sign for your organisation as defined in your organisation’s rules, you can submit an electronic application on your organisation’s behalf without any separate authorisation.

If you do not have the sole right to sign for your organisation and your organisation does not use the e-Authorizations service, or if you apply for aid using a printed form, attach a power of attorney with your application.

Payment application

The KEHA Centre pays out the grant in accordance with the decision after the work has been completed.

Apply payment in the e-service in accordance with the terms and deadlines of the decision. Log in to the e‑services using your personal banking ID, mobile certificate or certificate card. Fill in the application carefully under the Payments tab and attach the necessary attachments.

Apply for payment with printable form, if you applied the grant with a printable form instead of using the e-service. Send the application by post to the KEHA Centre's payment unit. You can also submit the application as an appendix to the general sevice form.

Information on all service channels is not available in your chosen language. Change the language of the site to receive information on service channels in other languages.

To whom and on what terms

The grant is available for legal entities, i.e. registered associations and other organisations, businesses, municipalities, etc. Most grant recipients are non-profit associations. The grant is not available for government agencies, institutions or private individuals.

As the application submitter you must have the right to act in the applying organisation’s name. If you do not have the sole right to sign for your organisation, you need a authorisation or a power of attorney to prove your right.

If you apply for aid through the e-service, you need online banking codes, a mobile certificate or a certificate card to sign in.
