In general medicine departments, we care for and rehabilitate patients with short-term acute illness and provide terminal stage care. We also provide medical assessment and care for patients who are waiting for a place in a nursing home.

Do the following
They come to the ward with a referral from a doctor the emergency department or health care centre. Palliative patients are referred from the care unit. Patient intervals are planned in cooperation with the service supervisor.
