Application for professional competence for the acceptance of driving tests and oral theoretical examinations related to the driving tests and the supervision of trainers.

- Follow the instructions to complete the form and print and sign it.
- Attach documents to the application.
- Send the application.
Document requirements
Send as an attachment to the application:
diploma
study attainments
a document proving citizenship, such as an extract from the Population Information System or a passport personal data page
a document indicating the name change if your name has changed.
If you are an EU or EEA national and are applying for recognition of professional competence obtained in an EU or EEA country, please also send:
certificate of professional competence, if issued in the country in which you acquired professional competence
employment certificates
Send the application and its appendices to Traficom's registry.
Translation requirements
Translate the document into Finnish, Swedish or English if the original is in a language other than English, Swedish or Finnish. The translation can be prepared in the language pair in question by a translator authorised in Finland or by an official translator authorised in the country of origin. The translation into English prepared by the party issuing the document is also accepted.
To whom and on what terms
If you have completed a driving instructor's degree and the licence has been valid for at least two years and the licence has already been changed according to the criteria required for a Finnish driving instructor's licence.
