Consent to being a responsible person

  • Service
  • Nationwide
  • Public service

You must give your consent for registration if you have filed a prohibition of registration at the Finnish Trade Register, the Finnish Register of Associations, or the Finnish Register of Foundations and you are notified as a person responsible for a company or an organisation.

For example, a board member can be a responsible person.

Please note: If you are notified as a responsible person in several companies at the same time, you have to give separate consent for each registration.

Do the following

Go to our online form and log in. Change the language of the form at the top of the page. Fill in and send the form.

When the PRH has received your consent, we will send you a message showing the notified consent.

To whom and on what terms

Use our online form to give your consent. You cannot give your consent by email without using the online form.

Please note that you cannot give your consent before the PRH has started processing the notification and provided it with a record number.

To give consent for registration, you need to have a Finnish personal identity code. To use the online form, you also need one of the following:

  • personal internet banking codes
  • a mobile certificate
  • an electronic identity card (HST card).

You also need the Business ID of the company or the organisation and record number of the notification.

The service is free of charge.
