To whom and on what terms

You are eligible for the service if you need care and assistance due to a reduced ability to function and cannot manage in your own home even with extensive in-home assistance. In addition, because of your current living conditions, you need a dwelling that is suitable for your needs.

Home-based services take priority over other services. Wealth is also a factor in obtaining a serviced apartment in ARA properties. The apartments are intended for people on low incomes, and there is an asset limit for obtaining an apartment.

In the wellbeing services county of Vantaa and Kerava, the ARA properties for communal housing are Heporinne Service House, Koivukylä Service House, Metsotie Service House, Myyrmäki Senior Centre, Pähkinärinne Service House and Suopursu Service House.

To receive the service, please contact senior counselling either by phone, email or through the Maisa client portal.
