Job coaching for people with disabilities is a service that aims to support the residents of Vantaa and Kerava who are struggling, due to a disability or an illness, to find employment and paid work that matches their skills, wishes and ability to work through an individual and client-oriented service path.

To access the service, you need a service needs assessment and a decision on job coaching for people with disabilities made by the Client Assistance Unit for the Disabled (old Social Welfare Act, section 27 d). You can apply for the service if you live in Vantaa or Kerava, have completed compulsory education and have a medical statement B or C for a disability that affects your ability to work or makes it difficult to find employment in the open labour market (for example, mild intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, sensory impairment or pervasive developmental disorders).
