An advance notification on the heap must be given to the municipal environmental protection authorities.

Food premises that process foodstuffs of animal origin before retail must apply to be approved as establishments.

Renovation of external surfaces of buildings and other external structures requires notification to the Environment and Building Control Department.

Data on all cattle kept in Finland, such as cattle, bison, yak and water buffalo, are recorded in the Cattle Register.

In exceptional circumstances, you can store dry manure in heaps. Report the matter to the department of environmental services of Oulu region.

You will need a building permit when constructing a new building, expanding an existing building, or under-taking a major renovation project.
