Changed personal data is transmitted from the Population Information System to other authorities. There may be a delay in the transmission of the data to registers. The delay is usually caused by the time required for recording the data and the system owned by the authority receiving the data. If the data has not been received by the authorities within a couple of months, contact the Digital and Population Data Services Agency.
Changed personal data can always be disclosed to be used by authorities even if you have made a non-disclosure of customer register update for the Population Information System.
Also note that the email address saved in the Population Information System is not automatically updated in other official e-services, such as MyTax. When you change your email address, you have to update it to all the e-services you use.
