The network is gradually expanding to cover all of Finland. The aim is that the shared service network will cover the country as a whole by 2030.

The following authorities provide services at new joint service points;

  • Finnish Supervisory Agency
  • Digital and Population Data Services Agency (DVV)
  • Economic Development Centres
  • Kela
  • Finnish Immigration Service (Migri)
  • National Land Survey of Finland (MML)
  • National Legal Services Authority
  • Police (passports, identity cards, permits etc.)
  • Prison and Probation Service of Finland’s Probation Offices
  • Employment services
  • National Enforcement Authority Finland
  • Finnish Tax Administration

Not all new joint service points provide services for all authorities yet. However, the range of services will be developed and services will be added. You can find the currently available services on the Suomi.fi website.

At new joint service points you can use e-services on customer terminals and will be provided guidance on the use of e-services. You can also speak with a customer service advisor and get help on how to proceed in accessing the services you need. The authorities’ own employees also work at the service points. You can reach them by waiting in line at the service point or by booking an appointment.

New joint service points are open on weekdays from 8 am to 4 pm. If your locality does not yet have a new joint service point, you can get a service from an authority's own office or service point.

The range of services provided by service points varies by service point: most commonly, they offer the municipality's own services and services provided by a few central government authorities. Find your nearest service point from the list given on the Suomi.fi site: Service points.
