You can use the register of package travel agencies to ensure travel agency's reliability
- Public service
The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA) is tasked with securing the claims of travellers if the travel agency goes bankrupt. The tour operator is responsible for ensuring that the security lodged for a package tour is always sufficient so that, in case of bankruptcy, it will ensure, for example:
- the return transportation of travellers
- accommodation of travellers at the destination until return transportation
- advance payments made by consumers
The information on the security lodged by a travel agency can be checked on the register available on the FCCA website.

To whom and on what terms
The service only concerns consumers who have bought a package travel tour. The service is free of charge.
