Yläkemijoen päiväkotiorganizes full-time and part-time early childhood education and care as well as pre-primary education in Vanttauskoski.

The ECEC centre is located in the same building as Yläkemijoki school, about 50 km from the center of Rovaniemi towards Kuusamo.
