Power network licence

Electricity network operations require a power network licence if the electricity network is located in properties controlled by several parties. If the electricity network is used to manage the internal electricity supply of a property or a property group, no power network permit is required. The power network license cannot be transferred to another party.

Do the following

  1. Fill in the online application form for a power network licence electronically.
  2. Print the application form and sign the application manually. If you are applying for a distribution network operator's power network licence, also print out the insurance attachments and sign them manually.
  3. Attach the reports and attachments mentioned in the form to the application.
  4. Send the application and its appendices primarily by e-mail to the registry of the Energy Authority. You can also post the application and its attachments to the Energy Authority.
