You have the right to prohibit the release of your personal data from the Population Information System for direct marketing, public registers and genealogical research. In addition, you have the right to prohibit the disclosure of your contact information as a contact, address or other similar information service.
The following can be registered in the Population Information System:
You can register any non-disclosure of personal data on the Personal Data page of the Suomi.fi Web Service. In the same service, you can also remove non-disclosures of personal data from yourself, if necessary.
If you cannot report non-disclosure orders in the web service, you can report the data by phone. You can also report the non-disclosure orders using a printable form or a free-form letter. Send the form by secure email to vaestotiedot@dvv.fi or by post to the Digital and Population Data Services Agency.
As the child’s guardian, you can notify the non-disclosures for a minor child using the online form. If the child has other guardians, you will need their written consent as an attachment. If the child is aged 15 or over, you will also need their consent as an attachment.
