Approval of feed business operators using animal protein in accordance with the TSE Regulation

Under Regulation (EC) No 999/2001 (the TSE Regulation), the use of animal protein to feed ruminants is mainly prohibited. Feeding other food-producing animals with processed animal protein is also prohibited with certain exceptions as described in Annex IV to the TSE Regulation.
