Sitova.fi is an online service maintained by Aretum Oy for creating legal documents online. It is intended for private individuals who want guided, digital self-service help with legal documents for common life situations. Documents can be created without meeting a lawyer.
With Sitova.fi you can create an estate inventory for the Finnish estate inventory process (perunkirjoitus), an estate distribution agreement for dividing an estate, a property division agreement for dividing assets in a divorce, as well as a will, a prenuptial agreement and a continuing power of attorney. You can also create a deed of gift, a power of attorney, a promissory note (loan agreement) and a bill of sale for movable property, such as a car or boat.
Documents are created step by step: the customer answers the service's questions and provides the necessary details, after which the service generates the document. The customer can review the document in a free preview before paying, and after payment the finished document can be downloaded as a PDF.
Each document comes with practical instructions, for example on signing, witnessing, registration or submission to authorities, where relevant for that document.
The service is digital self-service and does not include personal legal advice. If the situation involves a dispute, is exceptionally complex or otherwise falls outside what the service supports, personal legal help may be needed.
