Oulu Police Department

We operate in 38 municipalities in the counties of Kainuu and Northern Ostrobothnia (Pohjois-Pohjanmaa). Our area of operation includes about 61 600 square kilometres, with about 488 000 residents.

The Police Department is composed of 14 police stations. The main police station is located in Oulu, in Ruskonselkä. Our other police stations are located in downtown Oulu, Haapavesi, Haapajärvi, Kajaani, Kalajoki, Kuhmo, Kuusamo, Muhos, Pudasjärvi, Raahe, Sotkamo, Suomussalmi, Taivalkoski, and Ylivieska. The information under each police station contains the services supplied and opening hours, as well as the instructions to order records, protocols and copies.
