Electronic messages received in Suomi.fi Messages are increasingly the primary way to receive important decisions and notifications from the authorities. We now ask the users of the service to check and confirm verify the email address they have saved in Suomi.fi Messages.
This helps to ensure that notifications of new messages received in Suomi.fi Messages are sent to the correct e-mail address and reach the recipient.
If a longer time has passed since you added or edited your email address, you will be asked to confirm verify the address the next time you go to Suomi.fi Messages.
You must verify your email address if you see a banner prompting you to do so in Suomi.fi Messages.
