Further information about continuing power of attorney

If you are unable to represent your granter, there are some situations you can apply for a guardian to be appointed to act as their attorney.

The continuing power of attorney expires when you notify in writing of your resignation from the position of attorney.

You can apply for the confirmation of power of attorney if you have been appointed as the attorney in another person's power of attorney.
