Do the following
Discuss with an OMA coach from the Employment and Growth Services of the City of Tampere to determine if you need wage subsidies to obtain employment. They will inform you about the duration of the subsidy period and the amount of support the employer can receive for hiring you. The possibility of subsidised employment will be recorded in your employment plan.
- When applying for subsidised employment positions is indicated in your plan, you can view the wage subsidised positions announced by employers through the OMA online service.
- Contact interesting employers and apply for open positions.
- Mention to the employer that wage subsidies may be available for your hiring.
- If you get a job, ask your employer to contact the Employment and Growth Services of the City of Tampere and submit a wage subsidy application online. The application can be found in the "Yrityksen ja työnantajan Oma asiointi" (Employer's Own e-Services) section. Your employment can begin only after the Employment Services of the City of Tampere has granted wage subsidies to the employer.

To whom and on what terms
The City of Tampere can grant wage subsidies to your employer for your wage costs if your employer and your employment meet the requirements for receiving wage subsidies.
You can benefit from wage subsidies for your employment if you are:
- Aged 15–24.
- Aged 50 or older.
- Have only completed basic education.
- An immigrant.
- Have been unemployed for at least six months or
- You have a disability or illness that affects your ability to perform tasks
